Ask Your AI Assistant About Your Wheel: SecurePutCalls Now Works With Claude and ChatGPT

Pro members can now connect Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP assistants to their wheel data. Read-only: your assistant does the research, and you make the call.

AI agents are this year's big trading story. Brokers are adding assistants that research and draft trades, and tools like Claude and ChatGPT can now plug into outside data through an open standard called the Model Context Protocol (MCP) . For wheel traders, the useful question isn't whether an AI can click "sell to open". It's whether the AI knows enough about the trade to help: the cushion, the earnings date, the assignment risk, your cost basis after the last roll. That's the part we've spent years building, so today we're opening it up to your assistant. Starting today, SecurePutCalls Pro includes an MCP server. Connect it once with your API key, and you can ask Claude or ChatGPT about your wheel in plain English, using SecurePutCalls data instead of whatever the model remembers. What your assistant can do Once connected, your assistant has four read-only tools: Today's wheel candidates. The latest Wheel Screener scan: cash-secured puts and covered calls with return, cushion and risk scores. Your assistant can ask for a minimum return and then narrow the list, for example by stock price. Your positions. Your tracked positions, including breakeven, days to expiration, assignment risk and whether earnings land before expiry. Risk for any symbol. A risk check on a single ticker before you sell a put on it. Weekly Picks. Open and closed Weekly Picks. Some questions to try: "Which of my open puts have earnings before they expire?" "Find three cash-secured puts under $150 with the most cushion and no earnings before expiry." "Check the risk on NVDA and my open NVDA positions before I sell another put." "Summarize what expires this week and how much cushion each position has." What it can't do It can't trade. The tools are read-only . Your assistant can't place, change or cancel orders, and it can't change anything in your SecurePutCalls account. Orders stay with you and your broker. That's deliberate. An AI is fast at scanning, summarizing and checking, and it's equally confident whether it's right or wrong. We think the right split is that the assistant does the research and you make the decision. Answers from SecurePutCalls carry our risk fields, such as earnings before expiry and assignment risk, so that context is there before you act. The connection uses the same limits as the Pro API: about one call per tool per minute during market hours. Outside market hours you get the latest scan without live risk scores. How to connect (about 5 minutes) On the Pro plan, open Settings → Developer API & Webhooks and create your API key. It's shown once, so save it somewhere safe. In the same section, open Use with AI agents (MCP) . It has copy-ready setup for each assistant. Add SecurePutCalls to your assistant: Claude Code: run this command with your key: claude mcp add --transport http securePutCalls https://secureputcalls.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" Claude Desktop: paste the config from Settings into claude_desktop_config.json a
